Last All-Star Tounament of the Year

Mitchell's team played in a second All-Star tournament. It was only his team and one other team so they played that team twice in one night. The other team was the same one that beat them out of first place in the last tournament, so they knew it was going to be a tough game.

In the end the other team beat them in both games, but they never gave up! They played hard and with the best attitude right up to the very last inning. They even scored about 6 runs in that last inning!

We were so proud of all of them!

Garden Update

Fourth of July 2009

Since we moved here, we've spent each 4th of July at the lake house with the whole family and then some, and each year we have more fun than the last!

As usual the kids absolutely harass Chris for rides in, and behind, his boat until he's used up a whole tank of gas!

Us more civilized folk, tootled around on the pontoon boat at a slower rate of speed.

Then we bar-b-qued...

...and had some drinks from the new Tiki Bar.

Finally, we settled in for "Chris' Famous Fireworks Show". It's the best fireworks show I've ever seen, and I think many others agree, because the boats line the marina.
